Southern University Dancing Doll Auditions 2012

The Southern University Dancing Doll Tryouts will take place, Saturday, August 11, 2012, in the Isaac Greggs Band Hall on the Campus of Southern University.
Tryouts will begin at 8:00 A.M. All applications must be mailed in and postmarked no later than Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Please follow all instruction on the application.

X-Treme Motion Dance Crew Set To Take Part In Televised Competition.

Tune In tonight for the season premiere of Randy Jackson Presents: Americas Best Dance Crew Season 5. which airs on Mtv at 10pm / 9pm central time.
Amongst this seasons participants is “X-Treme Motion” . This Dance Crew is made up of six majorettes of formerly of Texas Southern University’s Motion of the Ocean dance troupe. Their goal is to take a style of dance commonly known amongst HBCU dance teams to the mainstream Stage. T heir style is influenced by both Street Jazz and Hip-Hop, But These girls are ready to show the world how “Bucking” is done.
